Just fly down then to feathermoon stronghold and use sea lion form to swim across the water. Then once your over there start picking!

If you don't have a flying mount I would recommend to go to Eastern Plaguelands instead. Eastern Plaguelands Not as good as Thousand Needles, but still a decent place.

I farmed around 15 in less than ten minutes. It's always best to first look at the Herbalism requirement of your Alchemy mats so you get the best farming done. Too bad you can't farm everything in one place! After herbing there for 30 minutes I literally found twice as much Sungrass as I did in Eastern Plaguelands. And for players that hate "Pleaguelands weather style", like me :D. Comment by Even for those who are level specific you can get sungrass from Thousand Needles too. Use the ramps located at 30, 49 or 56, 55 to get up there. Just ran it and mobs are around give or take and managed to gather 3 full stacks just using the southern shelf.
