Where to find tin lotro

So he has built up a supply of ore from higher tiers that my champion could use for his Armsman vocation… if only he could get past the first tier. He cannot get anywhere, at least as a weaponsmith, without tin. The deed acceleration could come in handy, for reasons which I will get into with a future post, and mithril coins on top of that seems like a deal.

What else am I going to spend all of that on? Also, a congrats to SSG for finally getting the queue in the launcher working and updating your position. On the new servers, is tin supposed to be a node back in the world again? If so, I hope you manage to find some soon. It was always the more difficult of the two to find back before crafting was changed.

If they did not revert the changes, it has only been sold by suppliers on the normal servers for at least a few years now. Like Like.

This is a particularly interesting thread in light of our brief comment discussion the other day concerning the need to read outside a game versus the ideal of being able to learn everything needed from just playing it. Is there anything in the tool-tips or the context menus that point you to a vendor for Tin? For that matter, was there ever anything that pointed you towards a tin node out in the world?

Gems can be polished by a Jeweler and used in recipes by Armorsmiths, Weaponsmiths, Metalsmiths and, of course, Jewelers. We have realized that any spot where you find one can respawn as any of the specific nodes of that tier. Because of this we have made a single object record for each Prospecting node tier, such as Expert Mineral Deposit. This way we can have one page that shows all the locations. Many zones will have a smattering of a particular node but when we find a zone or area with a specific node so thick you cannot swing a cat without hitting one we will note that in the following table by displaying the zone name in bold.

Mine Rich Iron Deposit. Harvest Rich Iron Ore , Ruby. Mine Gold Deposit. Harvest Gold Ore , Sapphire. Mine Dwarf-Iron Deposit.

Mine Platinum Deposit. Mine Ancient Iron Deposit. Mine Misty Mountain Silver Deposit. Harvest Misty Mountain Silver Ore. Low-Grade Steel Ingot recipe. Not sure one exists but maybe turbine should look into making one of these so that crafting isn't just about wandering around randomly until you find resources.
